JAPANESE SURRENDER FILM – SEPTEMBER 2, 1945

This is an excellent reminder for those of us who are “old” enough to remember, first hand, this ceremony.  For those who are too young to have experienced, or perhaps never have seen or heard of this ceremony, you really must watch this.  This is history.  The events and years leading up to this must never be allowed to happen again.  God was with us then.  Let us never leave HIM!  God bless America.

If you are a fan of history at all, this will stir your soul. I can’t imagine what the men on the Missouri that day were feeling and thinking.

ACTUAL VOICE OF GENERAL MacArthur NEVER BEEN SHOWN TO GENERAL PUBLIC BEFORE.  Please click on to Japanese Surrender below. A keeper.

This is a ‘must see’ for the WWII history buff or anyone interested in history.

Interesting the other signers to the document, from New Zealand/Australia to Europe/Russia.

This is an actual film made of the surrender ceremony of the Japanese to McArthur in Tokyo Bay in September 1945.

Actual voice of the General. Never been shown to the general public before.
We always saw the “stills” but never the film itself.
